Not a lot to say about today. My allergies are so tiring. I did make it to both libraries before my energy was gone. In the evening, we had a book club meeting to talk about the Addie LaRue book, and for once, the majority of people there had actually read the book! Still, everyone is tired of Zoom, and we wrapped it up in an hour and a half. We're hoping the next meeting (in early May) can be outdoors so we can all see each other again.

The Harbors of the Sun, by Martha Wells. Raksura #5. Now I should get the two Raksura story collections, and also I should read the whole series again from the beginning. I love these books. The Raksura are a species very much like dragons, who can shapeshift into a form very much like humans, and by the third book they live in a gigantic tree. My favorite is Chime, a rather scholarly fellow who is partnered with the main character, Moon (the Raksura are polyamorous, and Moon is also partnered with a younger queen in their community). I would happily read about Chime every day.

My sleep was kind of messed up last night, and I didn't do much today until evening. D. went off to see The Batman, and our Friday movie was cancelled because the host was feeling unwell today. Instead, we did our grocery shopping and had a fun conversation with D's favorite coworker, the video-gamer cake decorator. Then we came home and looked at lots and lots of fractal pictures, from Mandelbrot and Julia set websites, where you can zoom in and make your own pictures. Here's the one that's probably my favorite:
