Day 737: Paperwork...
Mar. 24th, 2022 11:27 pmAs soon as I got up today, the fence guy finally came to do the last cleanup. He didn't get quite all of the labels sanded, but it looks much better and I can be content. Then I helped J. do the paperwork for Fence Project #3 (printed the forms, copied them after he'd signed, drove to the post office to get it all into today's mail).
After that I got to chat with a variety of neighbors, who were all hanging out in the street enjoying the nice weather.
Then I wore myself out by digging up part of one of the grass-choked flowerbeds, whee!
And then in the evening I helped D. figure out how to do his federal tax forms for the first time. I think he was relieved that I knew what to do and walked him through the process. Later we'll get the federal forms mailed and do the state forms. It turned out that even though he worked a bunch, especially in the summer, his income was so low that he only had to pay taxes on the prize money from that online Magic tournament on Mother's Day.
