Day 724: Spring clean-up
Mar. 11th, 2022 11:21 pmWell, LJ is still here...
We definitely need to hire someone to clear out the flowerbeds in J's yard, but I may have solved one of the problems. That is, the flowerbed below the front porch is so overgrown with grass, that I realized for now I can just mow it. All I have to do is avoid the peony, which hasn't sprouted for the year yet, and the iris and daffodil that need to be transplanted. I also have to avoid the row of smooth stones surrounding it, since they're not good for the mower. So I did that today. Maybe tomorrow, if it's not raining, I can work on digging out the stones.
The rest of the flowerbeds are raised, though, so, not mow-able. We'll see.
Our Friday movie was The Dark Crystal. Not one of my favorites, but it was fine to see it again.
