Day 707: Manuscript milestone
Feb. 22nd, 2022 11:59 pmToday I submitted my new paper to a journal. Finally! My files show that I started writing this one in October 2020, and of course I'd been thinking about it long before that. It usually takes months to find out if they like it, and if they don't think it fits their journal, then I'll have to try again elsewhere. Fingers crossed, though.
I sent it to G, and also to two local people who'd written a book that I found very helpful. One of those two (the one who doesn't know me) actually read it and sent me an email saying nice things, although he didn't seem to find the part where I organized it all to be very useful. But he was encouraging overall.
Also today I returned some library books, went to the store, attended the online music book club, etc. I seem to be moderately healthy again?
