Day 661: Sword lecture
Jan. 6th, 2022 11:47 pmToday's highlight was the evening online lecture by J's swordmaster. They teach from an illustrated book written in Italy more than 500 years ago, and he and his colleagues have been carefully researching the nuances of the book, so we learned about that.
(Our county had more than 500 new COVID cases just yesterday, and the swordmaster is extra-cautious, so classes have returned to the online format, even though all the students are fully vaccinated.)
Meanwhile, I can hear the wind picking up again. We're going to have another big rainstorm tonight, but then a week with things mostly dry. Oh right, also since it was finally not raining or snowing this afternoon I went out to look at that wooden structure I want to salvage, but this time I could tell that a board near the bottom had rotted away, so I guess there's no point.
