The two previous years when I kept track of my books, I had a lot of work at the end of the year to compile the lists, especially when it turned out the tagging wasn't working correctly. So last year I just kept a hidden post with all the books on it. Unfortunately, when I then "revealed" the post at the end of the year, I suspect that LiveJournal didn't put it into anyone's feed. So here's a link to it. I'll try something different at the end of this new year.

Today I sneezed maybe 20 times, maybe more! Could I have caught a cold somehow? Everyone's wearing masks. I guess the time that D. and I spent in line at the post office on Friday would be the most likely culprit. I don't feel sick otherwise; I guess we'll see.

I drove to the library in heavy rain - with some snowflakes mixed in - to return two books and get two more. There was a lovely Dvořák piano quintet on the radio. Meanwhile, DG was hanging out with J at J's place, so I was happy to rejoin them when I was done. We ordered Thai food (D. was sorry to miss out), and then sat around chattting until 10 pm! He has to write a long report for work this month, which sounds pretty stressful.

Eventually, D. came home too; he'd gone to S's after school. His classes seem okay. One is a difficult-sounding linguistics class, about "phonology," and the other two are an introductory computer science class and a songwriting class. I asked about his fall-term grades so he looked them up - again all A's. He got an A+ in both of his especially hard classes, the ones with the long papers.

I have sneezed twice more while writing this. I guess it's got to be a cold. How annoying.
