Day 256: Giving thanks
Nov. 26th, 2020 11:57 pmWe had a fine Thanksgiving, and since we usually just have the three of us, it was no different than usual, unlike for so many families.
First, J. and I went on a walk - I had a whim to look at Amazon Creek. Then we made the dinner: roast turkey with potatoes and carrots, cranberry jelly for J, and biscuits. To my surprise and delight, D. came out about half an hour before dinnertime and asked if he could help, and he made the biscuits. :)
We had a fine dinner together and good conversation, then we watched our Thanksgiving movie, which this year was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. I'd heard it was a good movie, but I really had no idea - it was tremendous. Then we ate apple pie.
