Day 142: Monday
Aug. 3rd, 2020 11:57 pmMigraine today, but I did get to visit my office to use the printer in the evening.
J. has had a clump of purple clover in the middle of his front lawn for quite some time, more than a year, because some of the leaf clusters have four or more leaves. They're long and pointy leaves, so I don't think of them as "clover leaves" in the same way as usual, but he still values them. The bits that grow next to it recover very quickly after being mowed, and today I persuaded him that maybe the main clump could be mowed too, since the leaves are unattractively mildewed. So he did. I wonder how many days it will take to be all fresh and new again? A week at most?
