Day 90: Boxes upon boxes
Jun. 12th, 2020 11:58 pmNext week is the kittens' birthday, and I was thinking of getting them a fun play structure because their room isn't very interesting. It has caves and heights and windows, but there could be more. I had a structure picked out, online, and J. asked if I would have room for it. Sure, I said, thinking how easy it would be to shift some of the storage boxes still in there. (The room has mostly been a storage room for things I didn't want out in the garage, and I had to box up many of my books and videos before bringing in the kittens as well.)
Then last night I was sitting in there in the rocking chair, cuddling Geordi on my lap, and thinking more about which storage boxes I should move for the new play structure... but then I remembered, the only reason this room has the space it does is because I took many of the boxes already in the room and stored them in J's garage. So, now I'm thinking the right thing to do would be to wait to order the play structure until I've cleaned up and gotten rid of at least three boxes, either from the room or from J's garage, because that's about equivalent to the size of the play structure. Seems fair. I hope I'll have the stamina and time to work on that soon.
