Book completed - super, super, fun
Jun. 7th, 2020 11:37 pmTooth and Claw by Jo Walton. The author describes it as Trollope... with dragons. It's hilarious, and creepy, and even subversive. I enjoyed it ever so much.
I got it as a free download from Tor.com, and as soon as I finished it I ordered two copies, one for myself and one for my sister, who had recently sent me several books by Trollope. I hope she'll like the dragons.
Today I finished a work task while J. played Magic online with our friends. Then we went on a walk - we did the route through the little woods and past H's house, as I'd done a few days ago for my steps to the southeast. Meanwhile, D. stayed up all night, then spent the afternoon at S's house, then came home for a shower and spaghetti and then to bed, all in the hope of resetting his sleep schedule for his 10 am psychology final exam. He says he's done this twice before. I hope it works out okay. He sure looked beat.
