Day 67: Random Wednesday
May. 20th, 2020 11:45 pmLet's see. Today we had a workgroup meeting online but concluded we wouldn't need another one for six months or so (if ever, really). After that, J. and I went on a walk, which was fun - we saw our neighbor JS and his son E, who's applying to various colleges toward a career in academic chemistry. I watched today's installment in our youth orchestra's virtual concerts - it was the middle group, so some were quite good. Others, not so much. We did our Slay the Spire daily challenge, and now J's watching a streamed anime series, Gilgamesh, which looks kind of interesting, but I'm not going to sit here for another seven hours to see the whole thing so I'm not letting myself get hooked now.
J, on the other hand, is now on vacation. Five days off - today, tomorrow, then the weekend and the holiday. He concluded that there's not much point in potentially letting vacation days go to waste, even if he can't use them up with travel and visitors.
