Apr. 18th, 2020 02:29 amArtemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident, by Eoin Colfer. This second book in the series is one I know I read years ago but I remember only the very barest outlines, so I haven't yet decided if it counts as a reread. This time I read it aloud to J - it was fun.
Another fun part of the day was the online "happy hour" we had for work, with a "meet and greet" that included our pets. Rio was there, the corgi who regularly came to the office in normal times, and we also met Masa, a one-eyed cat belonging to one of our IT staff, and I introduced Ajani, Sorin, and Jean-Luc. We also had 10 humans, not all at once. Another week we're going to do a scavenger hunt, and I think people have in mind to have a talent show someday too.
What else... working, writing, leftover Thai food, a walk with J. where we saw and chatted with the S. family, an online concert I mostly ignored, a talk by Delgani violinist "Jannie," a game of Slay the Spire, oh, and I showed J. the funny Tripp & Tyler video someone had shared in the happy hour, and we watched a whole bunch more by them too. This one.
