Learning about Isis

This evening I went to history pub with my friends J&B. The topic was worship of Isis in the Graeco-Roman world - basically, they "retconned" her into Greek mythology. Ben knows a lot about ancient history, and afterwards we had a fun discussion.

After I got home, I discovered a downside of the new public obsession with hand sanitizers. By all means, people should wash and sanitize their hands! But at J's sword school they had a new giant bottle of a highly scented hand sanitizer, and it was so overwhelming that even though he washed his hands a bunch after using some, his house got pretty scented after he got home, and after half an hour there I had to leave and spend the evening at home and even had to wash my hair. Blah.
