Rainy day Saturday

Let's see. I did my two weekly job applications then worked on the book while J. did some required weekend work. I took a break when the rain did; we walked over to the Episcopal church so I could enjoy the Lenten organ concert. I'm afraid this week's performer (although she has a doctorate in organ performance) wasn't that great - in the most familiar work (a very famous one by Bach) she was chopping off some of the phrase-ending notes quite abruptly in a way that D's clarinet teacher would surely have corrected.

J. and I went to the Thai restaurant for dinner. Now he's doing a Cosmic Star Heroine battle where the background scrolls past continually so I'm not watching.

Blitzen seems fine. She hides under the rocking chair when I go in the room, and otherwise she looks out the window, and Oberon saw her once, to his apparent surprise. I'm thinking of bringing Parker inside to visit her tomorrow. Oh - last night I was quite pleased when Oberon, out of the blue, decided he wanted to be my friend and to be petted! Progress! Theo seems under the weather, though.
