This evening, D. tried out for the university's League of Legends team. It was somewhat confusing - he expected it to be at the school, and I was about to drive him there when he found out he was supposed to play from his home computer. So that was fine... I left the house so as not to be a distraction; I went downtown and played Magic with the "Lady Planeswalker Society" (which just meant there were more women playing than usual).
When I came home, I learned that D. had done quite well in the custom games they were playing. He says, though, that there's going to be another round of tryouts, in person, "in a week or so," and since he's having his wisdom teeth removed a week from today, I hope it won't be a conflict!
The complicated part is that they already had a Diamond-2 jungler, who I'm sure would hope he was sure of his position on the team. D's only Diamond-5 at the moment (his highest was Diamond-4), but he beat this other person today in both games. I guess we'll see!
