Labor Day

Today we had a barbecue - DG and his wife, JC and his wife, me, J, and briefly D (stricken with allergies and still sore from the rowing). We had hotdogs and sausages, corn, watermelon, chips, strawberries, and a fruit salad I'd seen a recipe for in the newspaper: cantaloupe, blueberries (and/or blackberries), fresh mint, and lime juice. Sounds like the five of them are hoping to do an "escape room" together.

Afterwards, I read Pomfret Towers, and finished it just now.
