Very Nice Day

We're on the verge of a heat wave, so it's important to appreciate today's nice weather, when the high was more like 86 degrees. J. and I met DG for dinner on the patio outside Pegasus Pizza, then we all came home, and J. taught DG how to play his new favorite video game, Slay the Spire. I went outside to do yardwork at the very end of the daylight hours, but instead found a neighborhood cat having a distressing crisis, which I'll wait to post about until it's been happily resolved, at which point it could just become an amusing story.
