The opioid crisis

Today we had a guest speaker about the opioid crisis and what the county is doing about it. Oregon is relatively low for rates of opioid deaths, but that's largely because we weren't targeted by the pharmaceutical companies like many states were. It's still far too many! I don't think I really have the time to write a proposal in this new field, though, although there are certainly good opportunities for people with more relevant expertise.
