Friday

Today was just meetings, but at least they were interesting meetings. G's planning to write a paper on the study we worked on for the last year with our honors student, and we helped him plan the analyses. Then JB and I had a "walking meeting" in the neighborhood between the Friendly St. deli and the Madison Meadows. We're hoping to apply for a newly announced two-year grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Pretty cool!

J. met me at the Methodist church downtown for a violin benefit concert for the youth orchestras, then we walked over to the Magic store and found our friend DG, who came over soon thereafter. They're planning to go to a Magic tournament tomorrow in the Portland area. Maybe I'll get a bunch of work done while they're gone?
