Good evening

This afternoon I came down with a sore throat, and I took things easy. Later I learned via e-mail that one of my coworkers (whom I haven't seen for more than a week) also came down with a sore throat today, so something may be going around. It's pretty cold outside, though we haven't had snow here in town. In the evening I went over to J's house and started a fire in the fireplace, which was delightful. I gave up on serious reading after the newspaper and just made progress in my reread of the Belgariad. J. came home a couple of hours later and now is playing Dead Cells.
