Delgani concert

Tonight was the second concert this season for the Delgani String Quartet. They played Beethoven's favorite string quartet, and one by a Hungarian composer named Ligeti. The latter was somewhat atonal, I guess, but I found that I liked it anyway. Afterwards I conversed with three people I knew and ate two lovely pieces of bruschetta (with ham, gruyere, dijon aioli, and pickle).

J. has started a new game, Cosmic Star Heroine. Tomorrow we'll talk about whether it's feasible to apply for a new grant in five weeks - I am guessing that we should choose "no," but if we had another month it could probably work. Too bad. We'll see.
