Today is...

• The Martin Luther King holiday. I read an essay and an interview from his "essential works" in honor of that.
  
  
• D's girlfriend's 18th birthday. She's an adult! He spent a whole bunch of time with her and is home now.
  
  
• The 20th anniversary of the day that J. and I met on our MUD, Gizmo, when the friends I'd asked to help me celebrate my two-year anniversary there didn't show up. We thought it would be fun to log on, but it's down, so instead we connected with the people who could get it going again and encouraged them.

Now J's playing Shovel Knight, and in a bit we're going to watch some of this week's anime, since he wasn't available on Saturday.
