Huh

I guess I got more done today than I had realized. I put up two more strands of lights, raked some leaves out to the street, bought stuff at two stores, wrapped five gifts, planned more gifts, and eventually finished a fairly complete draft of paper #2. (Watch LJ tag that. There should be no such tags!)

D. came home from his sleepover in a stage of allergic overload, and hasn't gotten much better, 12 hours later. He went to see the new Star Wars with his dad, ate some pasta here, then spent several hours at his girlfriend's house.

My very own Yellow Submarine

J. and I finished our lego sets today - I wanted to have my Yellow Submarine complete before my sister visits on Christmas. She will be so envious!

We had a fire in the fireplace, and the fireplace complained. The last time we used it I hadn't opened the damper/flue/whatever for about a minute, and the house got smoky. Today I did open it properly, and the house still got smoky, though of course not as bad. I wonder how one goes about hiring today's equivalent of a chimney-sweep? It was 36F outside so not a great time to have the window open. Eventually I came home and washed my hair. I hope that helps.
