Still not funded

Even with an impact score of 23 (which is super good) and the cautious optimism of the NIH program officer, my QuitPoints proposal was denied funding yet again. He had thought it likely we could get it funded in December with the new budget, but alas. They'll review our latest version of the proposal in February. My current funding runs out in 19 months, and with a nine-month review cycle and a very low funding rate, well, it's not encouraging.
