Let's see...

Today's main things were... watching the season conclusion for Poldark, doing some work that wasn't very consequential, taking D. to his clarinet lesson where his teacher helped him work intensively on the brief Shostakovich passage that he has to master by Monday or at least by Wednesday, walking to the middle school and watching their rendition of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail as a school play (didn't seem as good as when we saw them do it three or four years ago, I'd have to say*), and reading The Word for World is Forest in advance of the LeGuin symposium tomorrow.

* The narrator referred to "Sir Galahad the Purr" - could she really have not known how to pronounce "pure"? Our friend's daughter did pretty well with the "smelt of elderberries" role, though.
