Birthday

Now I'm kinda old, in a sense. D. gave me a really cool cats-in-space t-shirt and some cat socks. J. gave me a variety of things, including a nifty t-shirt from Madrid with medieval knights and foot-soldiers. D. and his clarinet teacher also played a Telemann duet in honor of my birthday, during his lesson.

J. and I went out for Mexican food - I had enchiladas espinacas - and then the three of us watched From Up on Poppy Hill, a relatively recent Miyazaki film. Later J. and I relaxed in the hot tub.

Hedonism - good for birthdays, especially in stressful weeks.
