This evening
Jun. 30th, 2016 11:58 pmWhile J. made brownies, I tried playing a variety of Irish recorder songs, but they all "degenerated" into higher notes than I can play yet, so I gave up. Then he came in from the kitchen and said encouraging things, so I ended up playing a bunch of anime theme songs. There are a great many pretty melodies we've learned from anime, I have to say.
As I walked home, I wondered how Sagittarius is actually constructed -- whether the backwards J and the upside-down cup and the four stars to the right were all in the same constellation, or what. Yay for the Internet; I now know that they all are. The J is his drawn-back arm, the cup is his head, and the four stars to the right are the bow and the tip of the arrow. And when I looked for an icon among my collection to represent both anime and music, I discovered instead that I had one for anime and archery, nice.
