Although I had to deal with one of my accumulated car problems a week earlier than I wanted to, and although my throat is scratchy in that suspicious, early virus way, I'd say that things are going pretty well.
I rode a city bus for the first time in, geez, 30 years? I could have walked the distance (just over two miles), but the bus was handy, and I managed to avoid today's scattered showers. My car wasn't quite ready yet, so I went and bought two dark teal green blouses! and then my car was ready. Now I've got it parked much nearer to J's house, up the long driveway, and hopefully it won't be broken into before I get around to the locksmith.
G, grad student A, and an honors undergrad and I had the first of a series of meetings to do something new with our democide paper and models, over the course of the summer.
And as of a few minutes ago, I finished the last of the many, many pieces of my new proposal to work with Alzheimer's caregivers using the same general approach as in my funded grant with wives of tobacco chewers. Doubtless there will be more bits of it for me to attend to before submitting it on Thursday, but I've turned it over to our AA for processing. Whew! Yay!
