Whew!

Today I finished a full draft of the main section of this proposal, which means there’s a good chance that tomorrow I can work on Different Things. Afterwards I celebrated by mowing the two smaller parts of my lawn and attending the String Academy II / Little Symphony concert (the third tier of our youth orchestras). I sat with another board member – she told me that her nephews had gone on the Europe band trip and are still talking about how great it was, years later. But they’re twins, and they had other friends going too. I had pointed out to D. that he wasn’t all that happy being at All State for two and a half days without friends to talk with, and now he’s thinking he probably doesn’t want to go on this longer trip. We’ll see.
