"The Music Man"

More or less on impulse, I walked over to the middle school after dinner to see their opening night performance of "The Music Man." Kids from two of my friends' families were in it, one as the anvil salesman and the other as the mayor's wife. It was fun enough, but it would have been better if there hadn't been a few kids in the final scene playing air-instruments in the band, rather spoiling the point of the story.

Also today: cleaning, errands, gardening, car-washing in the rain, and e-mail debates on what to include in our new grant proposal... Tired now!
