Altissimo

I’m hoping to save my favorite rosebush, a climber named Altissimo which we’ve had for about 25 years (at five houses in two states). Lately, a blackberry plant has decided to share its root space, and blackberries are so difficult to eradicate. I think my best bet is to dig the two plants up entirely and try to pick out all of the blackberry roots and stems – it’s going to be quite a challenge.
