Today, I...

• Started the paperwork for the grant proposal I’m submitting for the Feb. 5 deadline
  
• Retrieved the clarinet from the woodwind repair shop, all fixed for D’s lesson tomorrow and (hopefully) for the big concert in January
  
• Retrieved D. from a sleepover at his friend’s house and took him to the podiatrist for the last recheck on his toe
  
• Shopped with D. for gifts for Sorin and Ajani
  
• And then bought more lights for our big fence; these turned out to be teal, which goes very nicely with the adjacent purple ones
  
• Stood in line at the post office for only 20 minutes, bought a bunch of stamps, and got the first 25 holiday cards in the mail
  
• Made dinner, bought groceries, did a bit of laundry, got caught up on FB
  
• And... came down with a cold, just like D. (and apparently like Z. and Katie at my office)
