“Feminist science fiction”

I’m now reading some stories by Joanna Russ, as part of my preparation for next year’s Tiptree symposium at the university. I was caught off guard this year, as I hadn’t read any Tiptree fiction for something like 25 years and couldn’t remember anything particular. Also I’ve finally started properly reading Naomi Mitchison’s Memoirs of a Spacewoman – the last time I started it I didn’t finish the first chapter, but now I like it.
