Today I went to the endodontist. I got to watch a colorful silent “movie” of beautiful Oregon scenery, with canoeists in the Clackamas River, hot-air balloons above Newberg, and ripe grapes being harvested. I got poked and jabbed and digitally x-rayed. I received a bottle of artesian water from Fiji to sip. (Seriously! Such things must be available in supermarkets, I guess.) Anyway, the endodontist says they can’t realistically save the tooth that’s apparently responsible for the infection that’s been messing up my whole body for the last two weeks.
After that, I got a new and functional charger for the Android I use as a camera and alarm clock, and I got a big cup of Hungarian mushroom soup for lunch. Those were both good things.
