Bad air day 2

Today’s air quality, thanks to the wildfire smoke, hovered between “unhealthy” and “very unhealthy,” and we were advised to stay indoors. It was a lot like being stuck inside from snow, except that you could actually go anywhere in your car, you just couldn’t stand around outside in the perfectly warm air. They say some fresh air should make it inland by tomorrow afternoon and sweep all this mess away back over the mountains where it came from. I’m having all sorts of respiratory issues, but I can’t properly attribute any of it to the smoke, because J. has a cold and that could explain my stuff too.

Meanwhile, J. won yesterday’s Magic tournament, a PPTQ. It’s a new system. Now he’s qualified to play in an RPTQ, perhaps in January, and the four top players there (out of 60ish) will get to go to Spain in April. Whee!
