May have overdone things today

This afternoon, J. talked me into going with him to investigate the abandoned house/yard behind his, from which blackberries are growing through the fence into his yard. It was about a nine-block walk, of which more than three blocks were uphill, and it was 99 degrees outside. After that, I was panting, and my ears were ringing, and my vision was sparkly for quite a while. Of course I drank a lot of water, but then I needed to go to the credit union, so it was back out into the heat. Then in the evening we spent nearly an hour working on J's yard -- good exercise, and it was only in the low 80s, but I'm not sure the cumulative effect is really what I wanted.

Meanwhile, I've run into a snafu in my bid to "assume" my mortgage, that is, have R's name taken off of it without refinancing. (My interest rate is really good.) Anyway, although my credit union balance is just fine, neither R. nor I had bothered to take his name off the credit union account, and they want to see two months of statements without his name on them by next Friday. That's not happening. If they don't want to keep my business...
