Practically summer
Jun. 7th, 2015 11:32 pmToday was a fine day. I read Wolf Hall a while, I made the usual Sunday spaghetti, I did some gardening after it was cooler outside.
The one vexing thing about today is these blasted mosquito bites. I hadn’t had a mosquito me bite in at least 30 years, but now we are plagued with them. I am hoping that J. will soon start keeping the water feature turned on all the time, so the little pool won’t remain a breeding ground. I should have continued to read in my own garden, maybe, rather than using his for variety. At least I’m glad of knowing the hot water trick that I learned two years ago for poison oak.
