Errands and concerts
Mar. 16th, 2015 10:12 pmToday was certainly full. First, I took poor J. to the neighborhood urgent care, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Then I took his prescriptions to the pharmacy and got them filled, then I checked in with D. after his first day of the new term, and then I went to the neighborhood nursing home and listened to the ESYO Little Symphony concert, then chatted with people afterwards. I came home and made dinner for me and D. and lemon jello for J, then I took D. to his first concert for the ESYO Jazz Band. He had three solos and did quite well, I thought. My sister and brother-in-law came; R. did not. Maybe he forgot or maybe he was just too busy, who knows? Then we came home and I served up some jello for poor J. I also went on a brisk walk (cold and clear outside, Venus very bright).
By the way, my new laptop is super-exasperating to type on. I can't get through more than a line before it switches to the Windows 8 screen. Will I somehow learn to type in a way that doesn't have that result?
