Coincidence?

It struck me this evening that both of the books that I have to return prematurely to the public library feature a traditional and ascetic Muslim man obsessed with honor and shame who falls in love with a forthright and unconventional young woman and feels very awkward about it. One is the third book in the Zoe Ferraris series, Kingdom of Shadows, a mystery set in modern Saudi Arabia, and the other is the Saladin Ahmed fantasy novel, Throne of the Crescent Moon. Could the same person have requested them both? Wow, typing out the titles now I notice that even they are analogous. Royal thing of dim lighting thing. Huh.
