Calendar fail

Today I intended to go to a talk by Susannah Heschel. In fact, I went, but the talk wasn't there. I walked all around the building, then went out and got a newspaper to confirm the room. Right room, said the newspaper, and right date. I checked the room again. Nope, completely locked. Then I went over to the Humanities Center, since it was just two buildings away, and saw on the poster that the talk was last night. Boo. Did the newspaper and I get it wrong from the same mistaken source, or were we both just coincidentally wrong? It's the kind of thing I'm going to wonder about until I come across the postcard they sent me, which is how I learned about the event in the first place.
