Rainy Saturday

Today my sore throat is even worse, but I’ve had a fine day, really, mostly on the couch. I participated in the Twitter party for the forthcoming Mary Russell novel, set in Japan; I read the second half of Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance, the next-to-most-recent Vorkosigan book; I ate Thai food with D. (soup for me and satay for him); and I watched a Hallmark movie, A Novel Romance, set in Portland and starring the actress who played Fred on Angel and a doctor on Dollhouse.

Now I’m watching a documentary about the gardens at Buckingham Palace. Ajani is watching it as well. He’s surprisingly interested in the time-lapse photography of roses blooming.
