I’m on the home stretch for this control case paper. Yesterday I treated myself to a crash course on Yugoslavian history. Still no word on whether the journal wants to see the manuscript; if they do, it’s due in a week and a half.
Meanwhile, for NaNoWriMo, I won’t have anything close to a chapter finished, but I have some interesting and pleasing stuff, which is good enough for now. In fact, it’s great. I mean, it’s great that I have it; the writing itself may not be anything special.
Tonight, D. won the grand prize for the junior orchestra fundraiser! It’s a $50 Amazon gift card. Woo hoo!
