Cat health and geek(ish) trivia
Oct. 23rd, 2014 11:58 pmThe vet says the cats are fine now. His theory is that they had a bad batch of the wet food that Ajani favors, which would be consistent with him being harder hit than Sorin.
Sorin was hanging out in the cat carrier box a bunch this evening – I think he thinks it’s a great cave. The two of them in the carrier together is pretty heavy these days!
After dinner, I went with J. to try the “Geeks Who Drink” trivia contest at the video game bar downtown. “Geeks Who Drink” is a national chain of trivia contests, I think. We teamed up with the old-timers he’d been with when he’d played before, and our team won. My main contributions involved a cassowary, Christian Slater, and Flannery O’Connor. We keep hoping that the “geeks” theme will mean actual geek categories, but nearly half the thing was music or movies.
