Oct. 14th, 2014 11:46 pmTo help with D’s English homework, which now involves reading an act of Romeo and Juliet every night, we’re reading it aloud together, swapping the characters back and forth based on keeping each scene balanced, work-wise. It’s a fun thing to do together, but I’d rather it were a less exasperating play than Romeo and Juliet. So exasperating.
(Oh, and yesterday he was impressed that I’d seemingly managed to retain, “What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun,” from just one reading! Ha!)
