The grant proposal deadline is Thursday the 16th (and it seems well in hand), and the website content is likewise making great progress but due ASAP.
Now G. tells me there's a great opportunity for my companion paper to our democide article, a journal special issue. But we haven't worked on the article in 18 months, and it's still embryonic... and they need an abstract by Wednesday the 15th, full text in two months.
So much for either unwinding properly or starting on my pet projects again?
(As for unwinding, I've started reading the Vorkosigan books.)
