The Fourth

I am happy to report that even with the City Council deciding to crack down on illegal fireworks this year, our neighborhood fireworks scofflaws put on a spectacular show at their usual location, the track by Edgewood School. D. made several amazing videos of huge bursts of aerial fireworks directly overhead. I took some still photos that weren’t great but give a general impression:


Earlier, we had grilled chicken skewers (teriyaki and lemon-garlic), strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, and doritos, then we played several rounds of lawn-maze croquet.
