Washington Island

J. is now back from a week-long visit to his grandmother’s summer house on Washington Island, Wisconsin, with stops in Chicago, Green Bay, and Evanston (as well as the Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha). His grandmother is nearly 100, so this may be her last trip to the island. He also got to see his aunts and cousins. I’m glad he’s back!

Meanwhile, after a two-month hiatus, I have finally almost finished those long-promised blog posts on mindfulness! Really, I have.
