Jun. 24th, 2014 09:42 pmToday D. and I finally played lawn-maze croquet. First, though, I had to clean up the deer-droppings from the back yard first – never done that before!
He’s a bold one, our buck. A couple of days ago, I saw him on my back deck, eating the big pink rose bush under the kitchen window, just a couple feet from the sliding glass door. The kittens didn’t notice him, since the vertical-slat blinds were mostly obscuring the view, and he was gone by the time I found my camera.
