Far, far too much last-day drama for the proposal, but it is done. Done done done.
Meanwhile, we went to get D. a replacement phone this afternoon. Turns out he could get a refurbished basic phone for $50 or an iPhone5 for free. So now he’s the proud owner of a very nice phone. And then, a few minutes ago, we got a call from a woman who had found the lost phone out at the reservoir! So now they’re driving over to the park to get it back, and D. will again have his photos (few as they are) and his contact list.
I would like to have peace and quiet for a while, please, Universe.
