I think I felt a bit nearer to “normal” today, or else I’m just getting used to this odd feeling, which is adequate too. I did my library volunteer shift, I wrote two documents for the proposal, I went to the neighborhood insurance agent with J, and I sat out in the sunshine and read some chapters in Ship of Magic, the first book in the second Robin Hobb trilogy. We still have up to 12 more days of proposal-doing to wade through. JA is gone through this week, then H. will be gone at least the first two days of next week. Actually, having them take turns being gone is a bit more restful than having them both here.
My hand is really just a trivial inconvenience at this point, something I have to make sure not to lean on or brush against things. And with a latex glove on it, I can do gardening again.
